Speaker 0 00:00:00 Ladies and John, you're listening to the fantasy alarm, lb DFS podcasting with host John IBA and James Grande. Speaker 1 00:00:11 What is going on FA nation John app Pemba. He with James Grande. This is the quick pitch, MLB DFS podcast and livestream James that's right. We are for the first time also doing a video live recording of today's podcast. As we break down, Wednesday's nine game main slate, dude. How's it going? Speaker 2 00:00:29 It's going good. And I like the, I like the new format. We are gonna try. I mean, nothing changes over on Stitcher, Spotify, apple, right on the website. You'll still be able to just click the record button, but a nice wrinkle for those that have noticed that we're putting a lot more time into our YouTube channel and trying to grow that platform a little more. And this helps, I think, connect you guys to us, who we literally sit behind a microphone all day, every day to bring you podcasts. I mean, John, you and I have been doing the NBA pod for what, five years. Speaker 1 00:01:02 We've been podcasting together. I think longer than that, I mean, listen, I've been with financial alarm. Paul was 11 and you were shortly behind me. And basically a year after that, we actually started podcasting together. So sure. We were the ones that basically brought DFS podcasting to fantasy arms. Sure. No, we're not new to this, but we are new to this. So we used to do the live streams, obviously leading at the rod lock where we've yet to do a video podcast. And that's where we're going for. If you're listening on app and all them, yeah. Nothing's changing for you. But if you wanna go ahead and watch James and I, for whatever reason, if you like our faces, you can go ahead, go to YouTube and check out the podcast there as well. We're looking at the drafting slate forward. These nine games here, we get a fando slate open as well. Speaker 1 00:01:41 We'll have James read off some, some price points there, but again, largely the focus on draft Kings here is where we, yeah, we spend the majority of our kick it off nine games here, go to the pitching again. We're lucky enough to have some strong pitching options on this slate. We've been fortunate. These last few slates to have some nice top price guys here, a max Scher and a great strikeout spot against the Atlanta Braves at $11,100. Carlos Rodan had $10,800 at home against Arizona. Fran Valda is $10,300 against the white Sox and Tony Goslin at $10,000. Going up against the Milwaukee brewer is our 10 K and above tier. I think James, for me, the first kind of avoid me. The first fade for me was the ER, here, $10,300. He got a lefty going up against the white Sox in Chicago. I don't know how your thoughts are on that one. Speaker 2 00:02:30 Yeah. And it's an elite pitchers or elite hitters park this year. He fared well against them earlier in the year three run six innings of wins, seven strikeouts, pretty much what he does like you are at this point, guaranteed a quality outing from Fran bar. And then it's okay. Was he gonna get somewhere between five to eight strikeouts? And it's been pretty sure fire. This is a tough spot. The white socks are fine lately against lefties though. I mean all year they've been good. Yeah. Speaker 1 00:03:03 And they got a little bit of a healthier lineup. Again, back with them. Minus team Anderson of course, big blow to not having him in their lineup, but Speaker 2 00:03:10 True. And I mean, to that point, it is worth noting since August 1st against lefthanded pitching span of just over two weeks. They're not really world beaters against lefties. Like they've been 6 73 team ops that's 16th in the league 15th and WOBA in terms of isolated power. They're 22nd. I mean, maybe I could honestly see a case for all three. I think all three of them are safe. I think you and I both agree that Scher is probably the cash game guy. I mean, he's just coming off. Two starts to go seven scoreless, 11 strikeouts against Atlanta. And it's max Scher, sub two, Speaker 1 00:03:46 Two starts against him this year. 20 strikeouts 14, I think. Yeah, Speaker 2 00:03:49 Pretty good. So I think Scher is like the clear cut. One. Rhode ons actually been hit pretty hard against the diamond backs this Speaker 1 00:03:57 Year. We talk about this. They actually, they have some guys that hit left-handed pitching pretty. I even think on this podcast because sort of made that call one of these days. Remember? Speaker 2 00:04:05 I think it was you, I think you pitched that you were like, that was in like the midst of Arizona's like stretch where they were not striking out, walking a lot and hitting lefties and you're like, dude, I'm going. I think that was like probably your prize pick play of the night. <laugh> like over two and a half runs or something or Speaker 1 00:04:22 Yeah, it was over, I think it was over two and a half runs Speaker 2 00:04:24 And he gives up five. Right? I think it was like five, six runs. Yeah. I mean, look, he strikes them out. I mean 17 strikeouts in 11 innings. So it's definitely possible. He does it again. He Speaker 1 00:04:34 Disappointing strikeout performance in his last start. There are only seven against Pittsburgh that his prop picked that day, say eight and a half. And everybody's like, oh, easy over against a team that strikes added more than anybody against lefties at the time. And he dominated them. Just didn't get the strikeouts that anybody had hope for. Right. So Scher wrote on of course again, I'm I'm likely fading. ER, I understand the recent form. I would say of that, of the top four guys. He's probably the lowest roster. Would you agree with that? Speaker 2 00:04:58 Snoring Jo I'm my dog is snoring so loud Speaker 1 00:05:01 Right here. Here. I do not hear your dog. So I think we're okay. Speaker 2 00:05:03 I'm I'm gonna throw my hat at her. Sorry. She's Speaker 1 00:05:07 Fine. She's fine. Speaker 2 00:05:08 I love you. But golly. Yeah, but you know like that secondary noise I just couldn't do with it. Yeah. Fair GPP. Rhode on FRA Amber, I guess GPP too. And then Golin I like, Golin kind of here. Speaker 1 00:05:21 Yeah. Goslin's not bad again. Milwaukee. A little bit better at home, but we've talked about attacking them with lefties again. Goland fantastic numbers this year. So it's not as if like he's a bad op slightly worse in the road. 2 98, 2 98 E R a. Oh, no's just something to throw in there. Opposing him. You have Eric Lauer. This isn't gonna be a spot where I go to him, but I've been touting it all seasons along loves pitching in Milwaukee. The numbers barreled out again, 2 65 era at home. This season, we've talked about the strikeout rate better this year for him as well, but you're not throwing him against the Dodgers. We kind of cross him off the list for personally. If we're in that sort of mid tier range, you have the below nine K the there's only five pitchers in eight and seven K K range. Do you like any of them? Do any of them stand out to you? You got CBER going up against the Yankees. Ozzi going up against the Mets. Contreras going up against Boston cop against Houston and Quantro against Detroit. Speaker 2 00:06:09 So am I like crazy to wanna play people against the Yankees right now? I mean, they're terrible. They've scored one run in their last 25 innings. Everyone looks terrible. Obviously Aaron judge can unleash a home run. Three home runs like on any given night and Cooper's been really good against the Yankee. So I Speaker 1 00:06:28 12 innings. Just one earn. Is that what I saw? Yeah. Speaker 2 00:06:30 Yeah. 12 innings. One earned. Yep. And Speaker 1 00:06:32 No wins though. Speaker 2 00:06:33 No wins, but if the inks don't score it doesn't, I mean, there's a good chance he does pick up when, uh, probably don't go to Rezi. He's has looked below average Roan. Contrera looked really good. The last time we saw him. But the last time we saw him was in July. I like, I don't understand why they didn't keep him in the majors. Speaker 1 00:06:54 I told you that that was feeling maybe a Boston breakout and they got up to a really strong start tonight against, uh, Speaker 2 00:06:59 I, I guess John, like this whole tier is just, Speaker 1 00:07:02 I'll tell you what I'm praying for is for them to give us the one and a half walks prop. Again, I myco back cuz uh, Speaker 2 00:07:07 For my, oh, he's going so over on this one. Speaker 1 00:07:09 Yeah. He's walking up. Speaker 2 00:07:10 I think it's gonna probably be popular, but Jordan Montgomery has looked super good in his two starts. Yep. And Speaker 1 00:07:15 Colorado outta Colorado. Speaker 2 00:07:17 Yeah. He had, AANA had a no hitter going into the sixth and that fell apart really fast in the sixth. And he didn't even make it out of the ending recording and out, but they just aren't the same team away from home. And I think Montgomery is clearly pitching with a chip on his shoulder. He's very mad at the Yankees. Speaker 1 00:07:33 I saw somebody tweet out to me. He is like, has anybody answered to why they traded Jordan Montgomery for Harrison Bater yet? Speaker 2 00:07:39 Yep. Nobody else. I saw it too. The whole thread was incredible shadow. I think it was, I think it was like rasp ball who tweeted that out? Cause I followed the thread. I was like, nobody has any idea. Speaker 1 00:07:48 No one knows. Speaker 2 00:07:49 Nobody knows that commercial right there. I think Monty is in an elite spot here. Speaker 1 00:07:54 Yeah. Get 'em under seven K. So it's a good spot. If you're looking at other guys that are under seven K I mean, I guess is this a rich hill game? You had a lefty against the pirates could be, I mean four starts ago against Cleveland, six innings. One earn run gave you 20 fantasy points. He's been not good, but this would be a matchup where he could potentially get it done. And he is given you certain outings this year, where he is been serviceable. If you're just looking for a dark throw on a nine game slate and you're looking for a reason to spend down Pittsburgh against lefties, we talked about it. What's a strike like over 30% against lefties or something in that range. Maybe he'll could, could sling it. I know if you caught the, uh, the awful announcing post from today on Twitter about Dennis ly went in hard on the pirates. He called them a bunch of no name, like job, basically. No in their lineup wondering he's at least we saw the Royals and there are a bunch of top prospects. He said, who are these guys act, act diving in on Pittsburgh there tonight. Maybe they hear it. Maybe they get motivated. But rich hill at 61, if you're looking to spend down, it is the, it is a spot for him. If there was one. Speaker 2 00:08:58 Yeah. And obviously a huge shift in park in rich Hill's favor going from Fenway to Pittsburgh PNC. That's a really good shift. And he's been good on the road 3 42 compared to 6 82 at home. I mean, if you get rich chill at home, like you just, I mean that's Speaker 1 00:09:17 Terrible. Yeah. He throws slow into these righties <laugh> and the green monster is right there. They just, anybody else that catch? Sorry, catch I picture for you. Before we go to catcher, Speaker 2 00:09:25 The home Herman has been better. Three of his last four starts he's given us at least, uh, double dig, fantasy points, six innings, one run, five innings, one run. His last two games could go there. Another guy under seven K, but not like I, I'm not invested in Herman as I would be in Montgomery here. So Speaker 1 00:09:43 We at the top, you like Scher for sure. We're fine with Rodan. I'm a little bit off of, ER, you seem to be a little bit more on FRA Amber. Yep. Hustlin you like, I don't think we're gonna get to him out on CBER. I mean, out on lower, you like Speaker 2 00:09:55 CBER HNA specific for Speaker 1 00:09:56 Sure. Yeah. Yeah. For sure. Kluber tournament specific Montgomery and rich hill for me, I think are where we're going. You like Herman as well for an under seven K grouping. That's our pitching pool for this nine gamer. I Speaker 2 00:10:07 Stand by the way. No would have suggested Vandal, but still no slate out at this Speaker 1 00:10:11 Point. Yeah. I Jack, no Vandal slate yet. So I apologize for those who are, uh, looking for the fan. They, even though we're currently recording at 9 45 on the east coast, they have yet to release their sleeve tough on them. For the catcher position we got WD Smith will Smith there at, at $5,000 going up against Eric Lauer. If you wanna spend Upshaw, Murphy gets lefty matchup against RAs at $4,500 there. After that, we do have the Carson Kelly lefty matchup for Rodan. If we wanna sort of go back into the Arizona versus left potential matchup there as sort of another mid tier option for you, anybody else off the page for Speaker 2 00:10:46 You? I mean, I love the Murphy call. Murphy's hit lefties. Well, Homer tonight, I like your, I mean a big Kelly fan. So that's definitely a play. I would go Jonah Heim against Oler. Oler has been bad. I know Heim has also been bad, but Heim has a lot of power. Speaker 1 00:11:00 There's really not a lot else. I'll be honest. Speaker 2 00:11:02 Joey Bart, Joey, Bart's coming off a really big game. I will say Joey Bart has looked awesome at the plate of late 4 30, 2 average over his last 10 games, 1100 ops three home runs over that span. So 2,800 Joey Bart, I know are righties on the mound, but are we really concerned with Zach Davies? No. So Speaker 1 00:11:20 Slow throw slow. He tries to nibble corners. Yep. So yeah, I'm with you there. First base position, you get gold at the top against Herman marque. Excuse me. You got Freeman versus lefty and AAU Alonzo 5,500 against OD Rizzy CRO in the lefty match, but you gets Montgomery Rizzo home against clue. Bot may be a spot that you may be, could be interested in if you are out on CBER Christian Walker had 5k against rod Donna, as we mentioned, the down backs there, first spell were good against lefties and even got to rod Donna. One of it starts. Speaker 2 00:11:48 So I was looking up gold Schmidt, BVP, cuz we had gold Schmid in Arizona all those years. Yeah. Do you think he fared well against old Herman mark? Speaker 1 00:11:58 I would assume maybe because how bad he was in cores. Speaker 2 00:12:01 Goldie is 37 at bat sample. He is 15 of 37, 4 or five average four home runs five 12 WOBA Speaker 1 00:12:11 Yep. That's that seems Homer makes a lot of sense. Speaker 2 00:12:13 Homered on Tuesday. Just seemingly just doing something productive every night when he is not in Toronto. Right. So yeah, I think Goldie's a, a great spend up. I think he might go under own cuz it's not a lefty potentially and it's not in course. So I like Goldie of that top group. I understand your result call a hundred percent. He we've kind of talked about it all year where he is been really good at home five 40 slugs, 17 of his 27 home runs nine, 14 ops at home, but they're just so bad right now. Like I don't and I get it. They're not going to be this bad, like all year and the Yankees are eventually gonna break out and Speaker 1 00:12:49 You would assume so Speaker 2 00:12:50 Offenses. Their offense is like kind. We think that their offense is like too good to be this bad, but I just don't know when that breakout's gonna come. If you wanna play Rizzo and be contrarian. I think that's fine. But for honestly, for me like 5k range and above it's like gold Schmid and then move down the list. Speaker 1 00:13:06 Yeah. Christian Walker still has good numbers against Love's true. This year's that's right. Again, just total dark throw. If you wanna be super contrarian as, as poorly as he's hitting in terms of overall numbers, the two 20 batting average was up from what it's been 4 55 over the last 10. It's two 80 against left-handed pitching on the year. So he's a guy that we know can get it done. A 9 52 ops against south paw. This I would say maybe the one thing that's going against him is that they're on the road in San Francisco, much more of a pitchers park than a hitter's ballpark. But a Christian Walker right now is really on one and it could be a good split match for him. If we're going under 5k, as we've mentioned also against Scher gonna be a fade and obviously you don't wanna run up against Brau. What we know again, historically really good against lefties three 40 average over the last 10 games with just a seven 30 ops, a whole bunch of singles, basically coming up from OYO over the last 10 gain. But the lefty S for him generally where we are Brett is buttered. Would you have any interest in Volo B against Ozi at 44? Speaker 2 00:14:00 I was literally just looking up Ozi splits this year because I like the way the Volo B has looked in a Mets uniform. And not just because he's playing my milkshake, brings all the boys to the yard as his walk up song, which I think is incredible. So oor Rizzi, although he hasn't allowed a lot of damage to lefties 2 59 Babi 5 54 xFi. It's something that you've talked a lot about in terms like Madison Baumgartner specifically. And we've now seen like multiple starts in row or Madison Baumgartner has been trashed O Rizzi John 51% fly ball rate to lefties too. Yeah. I mean, we could be talking about like one of these games that he just gives up bomb after bomb. And who's to say VO, go back on the met aren't that spot hot summer night in Atlanta. I do logo back for tournaments only, cuz there's always the chance they bring in a lefty later in the game and he gets pinch it for sure. But I, I do think VO back makes for an interesting garment play. Speaker 1 00:14:56 Yeah, I like that as well. The Connor Joe gets a lefty match up against Montgomery. If you want to go there. I don't mind Mancini, even though it's not the lefty ready split. It just feels like getting some exposure to that here. Some lineup could be a little bit different Kopec could, despite his walk struggles has been decent at times this year. Maybe there's lower ownership on Houston near for tonight. Yep. If you're looking at some value, anybody in particular on your radar? Speaker 2 00:15:20 Well, we've been talking about Nathaniel, sorry, Nathaniel, Nathaniel low. Quite a Speaker 1 00:15:24 Bit. Yeah, no, no respect for him. Huh? Speaker 2 00:15:26 Zero. So I think, I think Texas was largely disappointing on Tuesday night or Monday night, they were pretty popular and they let everyone down. It's a really good hitting environment. Adam Oler is not a good pitcher in any form. So I would go back to the Rangers as a full stack. I mean lefties against Adam Oler, John 1,040 ops, a four 40 WOBA this year. I mean, we're gonna talk about Corey Seger. I think the Rangers are first cuz this is our first look. I mean, this is one of my favorite stacks and Nathaniel low at three K easily gets you the likes of Seager, Simian, ado, Garcia. Really? Wherever else you wanna go. Speaker 1 00:16:07 Yeah. I'm with you there. And, and in a pivot up of him again, just getting red Sox exposure. If you're buying into Boston, hospital's that 3,100, he's a cheap guy to get in. If you wanna eventually spend up endeavors and that crew there let's jump on over to second base at the top, you have Jose Altuve against Kopec you get Rogers again, facing a lefty at $5,300 in Montgomery, Josh Rojas, $5,200 against Rodan, Brandon Lao against herand 51 and Jimenez has worked his way back up to 5k. Speaker 2 00:16:35 He probably the only worthy Speaker 1 00:16:36 Five isn't he like under $4,000 recently, right? Speaker 2 00:16:40 Yeah. And I think, and Speaker 1 00:16:41 I were like August 9th, 3,900 bucks. And now he's up to 5k five slaves Speaker 2 00:16:45 Since then four of the five he's gone double figures, fantasy points. So yeah, we should probably raise this guy's price time. Speaker 1 00:16:51 The, that intern was fired. That was basically, Speaker 2 00:16:53 Yeah, that intern was definitely fired. I mean we love Brandon Rogers against lefties. Don't love it when it's not in cores though. Right? Don't you can't Rojas has been good, but like no point in playing in lefty, I think Brandon lat Yankee stadium could be interesting. I know the strikeouts have been up. Speaker 1 00:17:08 Yeah, definitely been disappointing year for him after the year, last Speaker 2 00:17:12 Year it has been. But honestly before this like recent stretch of games, like the stretch prior when he first came back from the IL, like he was pretty dang good, but again you're right. Like it has largely been disappointing. Slugging has been fine. Four 30. He is just not getting out a base a lot and he's striking out a ton. So I think Lao and tournaments, I think the Ray in general in torments could be somewhat appealing just cuz Domingo, Herman, although he has looked good. We know Domingo Herman like throughout his career has not been great. Speaker 1 00:17:41 Sure. There's not really a lot of mid-tier guys. I mean, Nolan Gorman, I think probably finds his way into some lineups. If you're going up against Marquette, uh, we talked to him, maybe leftys against O with McNeil, but yeah, I don't know. Does anybody in this 4k range or I mean, is there really anybody else? That's second base. That's jumping off the page sheet. I mean I'm scrolling down the player list and nothing really is, oh this is a great spot or oh, okay. Yeah. This is a good price on him. I don't really feel that way on, on a lot of these guys. Speaker 2 00:18:08 I mean Marcus Simian 4,300 I think would, is gonna be very popular. Speaker 1 00:18:12 It's a good price, but he is not hitting so Speaker 2 00:18:14 He's not, but I think what makes him so appealing in fantasy is like he has 16 home runs and 18 stolen base. Like Speaker 1 00:18:23 Do you hope the easier pitching matchup for him? He is able to find the stroke here. Speaker 2 00:18:26 Yeah, exactly. Like he could potentially, I mean, if he gets on base and steals and score, we've talked about this a whole bunch, right? Yeah. And mainly with Harvey Mateo, like a base hit a stolen base, a run scored that's 10 fantasy points like, and we talked about you've just went down the list. You weren't like impressed by the rest of the position. You get 10 points from SIM. I mean that's a good start and the upside for more just considering the power and the speed combination. So I think that coupled with the fact he's been like under $2,500 on Vandal for the last like week Vandal still no slate. At least I don't see main slate. Yep. Can't confirm that. But I love that. Uh, Kevin Newman, John has been someone that I've played against lefties a bunch since he returned. And I think rich hill is definitely viable. Can I don't think that I agreed with you there. Yeah. Speaker 1 00:19:16 He's a $6,100 pitcher. So I mean, Speaker 2 00:19:18 And I also think on the flip side could get exposure against rich hill. Sure. I mean Brady's have an eight 30 ops, 3 56 WOA Kevin Newman against lefties this year 3 39 average 3 71 WOBA he hits lead off. He's $3,200. You see? I think we skipped over Chavis. I think he's at first base. If you wanted to take a shot on him too, because we know he can hit lefties. Well, but I think Kevin Newman could be an interesting value. $3,200. Speaker 1 00:19:46 Yeah. Chavis is two K. So I mean, look, Speaker 2 00:19:49 If you're double, let's say you do wanna play Rodan Scher. Like the pirates are a way to do that. Right? Like the pirates are a way to get the top two arms or if you wanna play Fran bar, if you wanna play, Goland like whatever iteration of those four guys you wanna play, the pirates are a route to that because we know Reynolds hits lefties. Speaker 1 00:20:09 Yeah. Brian Hayes, if visit the lineup general Brian Speaker 2 00:20:11 Hay wrong. Yeah. I actually think did could Brian Hayes go on the IL? Speaker 1 00:20:15 Did he go on the IL today? I know he was held out. He did. He went on the IL. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:20:18 Okay. So it definitely depleted lineup and kind of, even more to your point about like wanting to play rich hill or just giving Richelle a shot. But I do think there's interesting, even if you don't wanna go full part stack. Interesting. One off. If you wanted to play, uh, sure. A Kevin Newman, Speaker 1 00:20:35 Roberto probably finds his a way to the line up against lofty at 2,500. Sure. Hit ninth, but you know, wraps around Trey Turner hits behind him. Something like that. And we can't play van gr, but I wish we could cuz he's two K Bon Grham, Bon gr V Grham. Not advanced Grham V Grham. Cuz he is like two K, but he gets chargers. Speaker 2 00:20:51 I know first slate, probably the first slate of the year. First slate in how many games has he been up for that? I, we will not Speaker 1 00:20:58 Be suggesting eat. Yeah. Six, six games. Six games gotta hit it all at one. Yeah, can't go there. Third base. Our favorite spot. We got a lot of top guys here. Ramirez gets lefty and or 56 devs against Contreras, 55, our NATO 54 against Mark Riley against Scher. Can't go there. Uh, fragmented 49. Your, your top group there I'm ignoring Josh Roja. Cuz I don't believe if he deserves to be at 50. So Ramirez Deborahs and our Notto are probably the three we have to decide to if we're spending out. Speaker 2 00:21:26 Yeah. I fully agree. Jose Ramirez eight for 23 off Daniel Norris. Daniel Norris did come off a good start. There's no evidence that will continue. He's probably just gonna keep getting shelved more often than not. So I'm perfectly fine going Jose Ramirez. Perfectly fine going endeavors, starting to show signs of some life. So maybe this can Speaker 1 00:21:47 Be yeah. I mean he can't be hold act forever. So Speaker 2 00:21:50 True. True. I think Anato no one's gonna play cuz I feel like we typically play Anato lefty. I feel like that's like just, I mean that's been his Mo for his whole career. So if you wanna be contrarian, let's see if there are any VPPs. One for nine, the one being a home run, but he is hitting 3 0 6 against rites here. So Speaker 1 00:22:08 Work under 5k guys. You get dress and Turner at 43 against lower. You can't go months. He gets a lefty. Don's at home. McMan gets a lefty. So there's really not a lot in this 4k range. Speaker 2 00:22:19 Bregman. Bregman's been really good, John. Speaker 1 00:22:21 Yeah. Do you want Brigman against another Speaker 2 00:22:23 Two doubles? Like I know cop is coming off. Like the start that we hoped Copic would come off Speaker 1 00:22:29 A six note, hidden innings, 11 strikeouts. Speaker 2 00:22:31 Like he, and that's the player like we hoped he'd be right. Like everyone's Speaker 1 00:22:35 At least the white Sox. Hope they'd be when I traded for sale. True. Speaker 2 00:22:37 True. Not you technically not. You you're literally the complete opposite from like a fantasy perspective. It's oh my God. My COIC is being a star stretch out to a starter. Like he's healthy. He's gonna be a starter, all this stuff. And he hasn't been that guy. Bragman another two doubles on Tuesday right now. I mean currently in the middle of that game, two for three already came into that game hitting three 80 for Speaker 1 00:22:59 Yeah. I said Houston could be sneaky today. I don't think maybe people would play them against Copax. Speaker 2 00:23:03 So maybe amongst the 4k range. I agree. Justin Turner is probably the guy, but I would throw Bregman's hat into Speaker 1 00:23:10 That. Is there anything else for you? Do you see any value that you have interest in? Again, I'm scrolling down the list. I don't see too much here. Speaker 2 00:23:17 I mean, I like playing a manual Rivera. Speaker 1 00:23:18 We generally like spinning up at third base. This almost feels like just an exercise. Really? We don't, Speaker 2 00:23:23 We don't. Yeah. Get your, get your index finger. Speaker 1 00:23:26 Yeah. I'm just scrolling workout, you know? Yeah. If JD Davis had a lefty then maybe, and we throw it out. But especially on a slate like this where the guys we sometimes will go to at value, they don't really have the match ups we're looking for. So Speaker 2 00:23:36 What about Oakland? What is your thought? Cause Reagan's is bad and they were very popular. I saw a lot of the industry talking about Oakland today and we're recording Tuesday night. Yep. And they're just so freaking cheap man. Jonah bride two K the kid. Do we miss him? Where does he play? Nick Allen. He plays second short. He homed in two straight games going into tonight. Then we're at third. But like, Speaker 1 00:24:04 Yeah. Allen's two K. Yeah. I could Speaker 2 00:24:06 Go there. I mean Oakland, I don't know. Just throwing that out there. It was Speaker 1 00:24:08 Just, I mean we for value we're T bad teams, right? It's no, Pittsburgh's two K Oakland's are two gay guys. Yeah. I mean they'll help you get there, but you need to hope that they get there or else you're I don't mind again. Yeah. You gotta be different nine games. And if you wanna play one offs, I would say a one off Allen play or a one off Fanon play or whatever. I'm not going in here and stacking. I don't think these teams, so that's fine. Yeah. That's kind of where I'm at with it. Let's go to shortstop. Lynnora at six K we've talked about the lefty potential there against odor Rizzy given his fan graft seaward numbers there. Trey Turner against lefty is the bingo spot. I don't know if you wanna spend 5,800 for him against Lauer or not seeker. We've talked about it. We like him all at $5,100 is a really good, a good price for him. The way his production's been. He's he held the top group is maybe where I would settle in. Speaker 2 00:24:53 Yeah, I think seeker's the truck. No question about it. Cuz then you get a Dommy for his Golin you get Swanson brochures or yeah, it's sea. It's a sea chalk day and then move down the list and take shots elsewhere Speaker 1 00:25:05 For Zio against Norris at 46. Yep. My boy, Jose GLA hits continues to get lefty match up, said 45. Speaker 2 00:25:12 And he's better on the road, which is still mind blowing. Cause he laces home games and courts, but 3 58 on the road. Oh Speaker 1 00:25:18 He is not power guy. So yeah, Speaker 2 00:25:20 I know. But like just in general, like hitting in course, Speaker 1 00:25:23 Maybe what happens is that his like road line drives get caught up in the Colorado air and they get caught fair. He needs those things to sink on him so he can get on base fair. That's my story. I'm sticking after that. Anything else? Any other, any other guys here? Speaker 2 00:25:36 I mean bias still has two stolen bases. Sure. On Tuesday. I know he's like getting a right. He's just better against lefties, but you could play him. Speaker 1 00:25:44 And you talk about your Oakland a at 2300. Speaker 2 00:25:47 Yeah. And Alan two K. Speaker 1 00:25:49 Yeah. We talked Speaker 2 00:25:50 Around. Yep. But there's nothing else. Yeah. This a week. This works actually. How about this? Can I interest you in Brandon Crawford? Two K again, Zach Davies. Speaker 1 00:25:59 Possibly. Speaker 2 00:26:00 He's a little better coming off. Two for three on Monday. RBI walk, double 14 fantasy points hit. Speaker 1 00:26:08 I don't, I don't think I like ever play giants. So Speaker 2 00:26:11 I play, so I played a lot of Joey Bart on. Speaker 1 00:26:14 Sure. I guess the cat catches the exception for Speaker 2 00:26:16 Me. Yeah. And lefties I think like with now JD Davis Longo. Sure. Cause there's a different, I mean Zach Davies is like a bad pitcher. Yeah. I'm trying to look. I feel like there's gotta be BVP here. Right? Like they've faced each other. Probably like a bunch Davies isn't necessarily. Uh, I might take that back. Who am I looking at here? I'm looking at uh, three of 14. Ooh. Speaker 1 00:26:40 Davies. Just see the thing is like, Davies's just had good stretches. So Speaker 2 00:26:44 Yeah, he has over Speaker 1 00:26:45 His career. He like defied odds when he is with Milwaukee at times. Speaker 2 00:26:48 <laugh> that's true. That is very true. Speaker 1 00:26:50 All right. Outfield, Aaron, George is 62. Moki bets is 61. You're ons 59. A kuia 53. You're not gonna play there. Not gonna pay 52 for bar. I mean, I guess it's it's your judge bets pick. I mean, Speaker 2 00:27:02 Yeah. I don't like I, you can obviously play judge Speaker 1 00:27:05 Bullet. Yeah. I mean, is it, are you even interested in anybody over 5k? Do you feel like this is the matchups for these guys? Or even Speaker 2 00:27:12 Sneaky Mets Speaker 1 00:27:13 You? Yeah. Speaker 2 00:27:13 I think the Mets are sneaky against oy. Speaker 1 00:27:15 Yeah. NIS. I mean Nimo at 5k. Just doesn't feel like, Speaker 2 00:27:18 Yeah. Ni it's not a Speaker 1 00:27:19 5k guy. Yeah. Like I'll, I'll always consider Joon. Just the power that guy has is crazy. Obviously judge falls into that conversation so you can go there if you want to. Yeah. Tommy FAMs. 4,800. Speaker 2 00:27:31 You've been so good Speaker 1 00:27:33 Though. I know they activated a ki Hernandez today. They still played Duran. And who was the other art field? Did they have fam in the lineup today? Speaker 2 00:27:39 Yeah, they did. They had, they played, I don't know. Who Speaker 1 00:27:41 Did forgo. DH. Speaker 2 00:27:43 Verdugo played. They all played. They played literally I'm looking at it right now. Okay. Maybe I wonder if they played Kik at shortstop. They did. Speaker 1 00:27:50 Oh yeah. Cause Xander didn't play today. Speaker 2 00:27:51 They started Kik at shortstop. Okay. They had yeah. Duran and center Verdugo and right famine left. Speaker 1 00:27:57 Interesting. You mentioned lefties Naquin there at 46 against Odo. Rizzi can go there generally hits lefted well, 4,600 for him. Speaker 2 00:28:04 I would play a Rosa Ranum by the way. Current forum Speaker 1 00:28:07 Arena. Yeah. Yogurt tonight. Yellow Menez at 44. Do we pass by Speaker 2 00:28:11 Robert Bruce? Robert he's day to day. He did not play Tuesday cuz of a wrist. Sure. That guy is always injured. Speaker 1 00:28:18 Andrew Vaughn, outfield only we missed cuz they, he used to be first base outfield. Now he's outfield only $4,300 for him. Again, if you wanna go against FRA Amber, a lot of these guys have pretty good splits against lefties on the year mm-hmm <affirmative> but we just talk about current form. It's not really working out for them too much. Speaker 2 00:28:30 So I think if you're approaching white Sox, I think I would. And it's not the same because they're better offense in Oakland and Pittsburgh, but because of FRA, Amber FRA Amber's ability to like limit damage, how he has like a million quality starts in a row. Yeah. I probably would do one offs. Sure. Cause if you play four of them and they score three runs, like you're not winning a tournament and he just does not allow more than three runs. Speaker 1 00:28:55 Yeah. I agree. Brett. So guys are in play Kiki and JD at, at 4 41 and 4k for me, we talk about Reynolds versa. L he's at 4k Ben 10 to at 4k. I don't know how you're feeling about your newest Yankee. Speaker 2 00:29:06 You've heard, you know how I'm feeling. It's not good. Not great. Bob. Not great. Speaker 1 00:29:10 Yeah. Not good. Rally green at 39. That's fine. Speaker 2 00:29:13 Cleveland. I think Cleveland's gonna be popular John, but Daniel nos, we haven't really talked to Cleveland. Like we obviously mentioned Heman as we mentioned. I mean, Oscar Gonzalez is raking right now. Yeah. And Daniel Norris is not good. 3,500 is too cheap for Gonzales guy. I was talking about a lot earlier in the year before injury hits right in the middle of their order. 3,500 fits perfectly in a stack with Ramirez and Jimenez. So I love Oscar Gonzales, 3,500 Speaker 1 00:29:39 Chris Taylor. If he finds his, his way into a lineup, you can go to usually hits well and gets lefties and oh again, bad numbers this year, something to watch for. Do you think McCarthy finds his way? Lefty, UN lefty, any Speaker 2 00:29:49 Interest he might play, but he and he continues to be good, but I don't think this is the spot. Not, not spot. Speaker 1 00:29:55 Let's see anybody else for you. Which I mean trace may play at 31. Speaker 2 00:30:00 Yeah. He should play with Speaker 1 00:30:01 Dogo at 29 criminally low Speaker 2 00:30:04 Cash. We talked about it. Drove in. I think he had RBI. Double R B. I single like just like steady Eddie over here. Yeah. Just getting you fantasy points in bunches. Every single time he plays. Speaker 1 00:30:14 That should not be that cheap. Scotty. You mentioned Oakland Piscotty is 2,500 hits lefties. We know that. Speaker 2 00:30:19 Who is cut today? Was it Pascoe Speaker 1 00:30:21 At the oh it was you're right? Yeah. Today. Today Speaker 2 00:30:24 <laugh> yeah. Literally today they released Pascoe before the game. Yeah. So they led this Stevenson kit off Cal Stevenson. Yeah. He's fast. He's like fast. Okay. Hasn't been great again, Oakland man, like they're just so cheap, but they're also clearly tanking. They shut down. They put Lori on, on Speaker 1 00:30:40 The IO. Yeah. I saw that today. Yeah. That was the news item I saw. I missed the biscotti news. Speaker 2 00:30:44 Pinder has been dreadful. Sky bolt is two K. If you wanna play him, like Oakland's terrible. I get it. I'm just like Speaker 1 00:30:52 I tried telling you then you were like we're stacking Pittsburgh and Oakland today and fire up the top tier pitchers, Speaker 2 00:30:57 Top stack Oakland and Pittsburgh. No, not really. But I think Leotis to Leonte. Tovaris is a pretty good play included in your Texas ranger stack. Sure. 2,600. He has a ton of speed. He was everyone's darling. Last year to steal all those bases. He's hit for a little power. He's hitting in the gaps. He's stolen six bases in 54 games. Um, I think he's in elite value and someone I mentioned the other day who wasn't in the lineup. Um, because there was a lefty. I was wondering if he was gonna be LaMonte Wade. Yeah. Three home runs in his last five games. I know you don't play the giants and something you said earlier made me look something up. John, if you had to guess what, or you can go over to fantasy alarm.com and look at our, our ballpark report. John, if you had to guess what they rate in terms of runs per game, what would you say Oracle ranked at? Just guess just to any guess Speaker 1 00:31:49 Eighth Speaker 2 00:31:50 Close 10th. So like weird because it's just always historically a pitcher's park, but it's just interesting to see that they're ranked, they ranked 10th this year. I don't know what it is. I don't know if they secretly moved the wall in or whatnot, but just that out there Lamont waited home. He's very cheap. Zach Davies is not very good. And what Speaker 1 00:32:12 Are you, what are your thoughts on a Carrie carpenter? Two K. Speaker 2 00:32:16 I saw that a, his first home run on Tuesday, right? Yeah. Speaker 1 00:32:20 And home it again tonight. He's three for four. Wait tonight. He's two for two with a home run. Speaker 2 00:32:24 Sorry. I mean, whew. Could we be talking about Speaker 1 00:32:27 A, can we do a tires? Pirates ASAC? Is this what we're working on? Speaker 2 00:32:31 I don't want to, I don't want to, I don't want to like spill all our, put all our secrets out there cuz we're but how about a pirate? Like you just set a pirates tigers. Oakland stack. Speaker 1 00:32:41 Yeah. Yeah. That's a good way to flush 20 bucks down the to or whatever it is that you're applying. So, uh, alright. Give me your home run. Call the night Speaker 2 00:32:49 Home run. Call the night home run call the night I'm gonna go. I was talking up the guardians pretty much. You know what I was talking about, Texas more. I'm gonna go Corey Seger for my home run call of the evening. Speaker 1 00:33:03 All right, I'm gonna go. Paul gold. Schmid you mentioned the BVP verse Marquez. We'll rock it. That's a good Speaker 2 00:33:08 One. Speaker 1 00:33:08 That's a good one. That is it. James. You're on the playbook. So you'll be the one doing a lot of the work. We'll be in the discord all day.
