Speaker 0 00:00:00 Ladies and John, you're listening to the fantasy alarm, MLB DFS podcast with host John IBA and James Grande.
Speaker 1 00:00:10 What's going on nation, John and PBE here with James Grande. Welcome back into the quick pitch, lb DFS podcast and livestream breaking down Thursday, six game main slate. And if you're familiar with the show over the last handful of days, you know, we've been breaking down the drafting slate. You're currently looking at the fan dual slate in James. That is because draft Kings right now, having some sort of technical issues. When we go to click through the draft king slate, it tells us that we can only reserve entries. We can't actually see the player pool as we record here at 1130 on Wednesday evening. So, uh, today we gotta break down fando but you and I play on fan Dal. So this really isn't a stranger until we just know that a lot of our listeners, a lot of the members of fantasy alarm they're generally over on draftings.
Speaker 1 00:00:52 But I do know that there are some fan Dal players out there, and our analysis carries over when it comes to guys that we like, right. And how we break it down. All of that kind of follows through with one another. There's just slight differences about how you build your rosters over on Fandel the single pitcher, the catcher first base, instead of making you pitch, pick a catcher in a first basement, and then the utility, some of the scoring's slightly different, but all in all outside of that and salary, you know, the players we're telling you, we like other players. We're building our lineups around both on draft Kings and on fan.
Speaker 2 00:01:21 Yeah. The one caveat I'd say is given, like, for example, on Wednesday slate, J two Ramu was five, six on draft Kings compared to 31 on Fandel it's like, in those instances, Kyle Scher was six K on Fandel. Yeah. Or ONF Kings. He was 3,200 on Fandel like,
Speaker 1 00:01:40 Yeah. I would say the biggest discrepancy I've seen of late has been, we've been playing Gris at mid price, basically over on draftings <laugh> yeah. And he was the top price. Second baseball. Fando a lot like slate. So yes, there's certainly gonna be some price differences as we go across. We're still gonna talk about the players that we like, and if they're discount on draftings great. Play them. If they're discount on fando then draftings fantastic. Go. There is with six games though, James let's get into it. This one should be a pretty quick breakdown of the slate, especially when it comes to the pitcher position. I don't know, but you, but I am looking at the very top here and I see Jacob deGrom at $12,500 as the top price pitcher at home against Colorado. He's been great in his handful of start since his return. Sure. Atlanta got to him a little bit last time out, but still six and two thirds in he's got to the quality start. Last three games is strikeouts nine, 10, and 12. He's at lead as they come $12,500, a one pitcher site. I say 60 plus percent ownership on him for this Thursday slate.
Speaker 2 00:02:33 Yeah, I'd say 60 plus as well, $2,800 a player. If you used your grandma and Fandel, that's fine. He's going to be popular. You want him in your lineup, especially he hasn't necessarily even been at his best, like his last start three and runs still gets you 42 fantasy points to pitch counts only on the rise. And this isn't even better matchup than it's been Colorado on the road against righties. Exactly where we want them. So, yep. Dora is your top dog and Noah Gosman follow. I think both of us are probably gonna be in lockstep here with Kevin Gosman. Yeah, because he has
Speaker 1 00:03:06 He's dominated Boston this year facing like four or five times the last time out, only five innings, but a 10 strikeouts in that game. He had another start here, seven shutout tense strikeouts. And he pitched them back to back games, start the year 14 innings. And those two start 17 strikeouts is one earned run allow. So we're looking at four total earn runs in like quick math here where maybe like 20 innings, right? Like it's so absurd number there. So I'm with you there. I think Gossman is my number two Noel against Cincinnati is certainly a good spot. Knowing what Cincinnati's rolling out there as for a lineup, Don Donovan Salano as good as he's been is a cleanup hitter, you know, like, yeah. So NOLA certainly in a spot roughed up by the Mets last time out, but still had a lot of strikeout. So sure. Top three guys for me, DRO Goman NOLA is how I'm gonna rank them. If we look in that, mid-tier, I'm just kind, kind of clump those next four guys together. Let me know how you think they're they should fill out Louis Garcia at home against Minnesota at 9,800 Jameson tie on the road at $9,400. Lance Lynn is at $9,100 on the road against Baltimore and then Jordan Lyles, $8,500 at home.
Speaker 2 00:04:09 Yeah. So I think right off the back, Garcia's dead last. I don't think there's a lot of upside. I know Minnesota's offense is weaker with Byron Buxton on the IL, but Garcia just has not provided us with upside warranting, a near 10 K price tag on Fandel. You'd have to date back to July 12th that he got more than 33 fantasy points and that's just not gonna get done in 98. I like Ty, I think the most popular in this tier is Lance Lynn. Lynn's been better. He has a good pitchers park in Baltimore, especially against a ready heavy lineup like Baltimore has. So I like Lynn, I think Ty owns the pivot though. He's given us three 40 fantasy point games or better in six starts. He gets a rotting, horrible decrepit, whatever phrase you wanna use for this Oakland offense. Right. They're all of it. And more so, and then Lyles is like that last piece. Like, man, I can't really get up to nine K cuz I like blank offense. Right? I let me use Jordan Lyles because we talk, you know, there's not anything after him. I guess if mlb.com is leading us in the direct direction. Cause currently we don't have a starter listed on FAL for Colorado. Ryan Feltner could be okay.
Speaker 1 00:05:23 $6,600 on Fandel Ryan Feltner, but he is drawing that matchup against aro.
Speaker 2 00:05:28 Yeah. So is he going to win? Probably. No. So like Lyles is like that last piece, like I have 8,500, I have not 8,700 to get to like, would I rather find 600 to get to Lynn? Do I think there's a lot of upside there? Yes I would. But if you can't get to, you know, if you're just like dropping 600, just to drop 600, like Lyles is fine.
Speaker 1 00:05:51 Yeah. Gedo did fairly well against Baltimore here tonight. I know we talked a little bit before we jumped on Baltimore's recent success against right-handed pitching and they can be pesky certainly at times. So Cedric Mullins starting to hit the ball a little bit better. Austin Hayes did homework tonight and we know that Mount castle has a lot of power Ruman really coming through. Yep. For them, we like Jorge Mateo at the bottom of their lineup. So they have some guys that, you know, you, in theory, you're like, all right, good match up here against Baltimore. And then they hang six or seven. You're like damnit, like this was the, they all click tonight. So right. But overall I'm kind of with you there, if you're playing on draftings again, I imagine Lyles is gonna be the cheapest of that group. He's probably in the low seven, cuz it's a smaller slate.
Speaker 1 00:06:30 They sort of will alter the price tags a little bit there. I wouldn't mind him as my, this is my punt SB two. We know the white Sox against right-handed pitching is a little bit more of a favorable matchup than them against lefties. But sure. You know, on, on a one pitcher site like fan DRO Gosman and then figure out your headers, you know, there's gonna be some two K guys here that we can plug in, especially in the outfield as we go across. So well go to the catcher slash first base. This is one of the first differences outside of obviously pitching. We didn't really touch upon it, but pitching for fando only earn Ron's hurt you. They don't count walks or walk or hits allow against you. They give you points for quality, starts wins, strikeouts, innings pitch and all the, that stuff.
Speaker 1 00:07:06 So, you know, kind of, it kind of benefits someone like Laos a little bit more. Yeah. Tie on a little bit more as well. They're not getting penalized for their walks and hits aloud. The other difference obviously is positionally here catch your first base when Ron draftings James and I are always just sort of blowing through the catcher position. We don't spend much time on it because we just, you know, we value more to the value guys and we move on. Don't even have to play a catcher today. If you don't want to, you can. But first basement that we like here, Vladi, I think at home on the road again against Boston, rather cut our Crawford coming off that game where you allowed nine run against Baltimore. We've talked a lot about Toronto of late, where on these larger slates they kind of go overlooked. I don't think that's gonna be a case here in a six game slate. No against cutter Crawford. I think Toronto could be one of the more popular options, which will certainly put guy like Vati in play $4,000 though. If you're spanning on spanning up for, for Drom, you're really gonna have to dig deep for some value in these following positions.
Speaker 2 00:07:57 Yeah. I think your spot on with your analysis of Toronto in general, I mean you can, it's six games and you can eliminate like three offenses being used because you're
Speaker 1 00:08:07 Not,
Speaker 2 00:08:08 No, one's, you're not using Oakland. You're not using Colorado against aro.
Speaker 1 00:08:12 Probably not Cincinnati against Philly, right?
Speaker 2 00:08:14 Yeah. Probably not. And then you're probably not using
Speaker 1 00:08:17 Boston against Boston.
Speaker 2 00:08:18 I mean, I guess you could, but like who's Boston's first baseman, like who, I mean, I guess you could,
Speaker 1 00:08:23 But Frankie Cordero, I think it was today. Cuz Bobby do play
Speaker 2 00:08:26 Show and, and Frankie, Homer that the only one who runs the so yeah, I think Toronto is gonna garner a lot of ownership, but you're a hundred percent correct. It's like you're picking basically because when we look through the positions, we're gonna see Toronto's priced up including Vladi. Obviously, are we playing Toronto or are we spending up a picture? I mean, I wanna get Toro maybe and Toro less lineup. Like if I'm playing Gosman Boman, Vladi still allows $2,900 a player. So still very reasonable builds with those two
Speaker 1 00:08:56 Guys. If we're going down from Guerrero, you know, a couple guys that catch my eye are a little bit cheaper. Jose Abreu at 3,500, still feels a little bit too cheap just as an overall 10, then we've talked Jose Miranda generally again, more power against lefties. But we also know the batting average against both sits around two 80 plus. Yep. So not an awful play, especially when we're not big on Garcia here.
Speaker 2 00:09:15 Yeah. Miranda 2 82 or 2 84 average 3 35 WOBA against left or righties more power against the left-handed variety of pitcher. But we also know that left, that left field wall, that short porch in Houston is very beneficial for a batter. So I like Miranda probably more than I like a Brau. We you've talked about Jordan Lyles more than anyone else about his home and a waste split. He's
Speaker 1 00:09:42 That a sub three era. I think it is at home or last night Jack
Speaker 2 00:09:45 Runs. So and no home runs. Yeah. Like three home runs. I think the number is so,
Speaker 1 00:09:50 Yep. He, you know, he does flirt a little bit with the, the saber stats. You're looking at his expected era and all those things like they're pretty bad, but at home he's been good. Reese Hoskins at $3,200. What's the split we had on done. Was it left? Do you wanna
Speaker 2 00:10:03 Hear it? Yeah, no, it is righty centric to the, okay, so righties have a wait for it. 1.4 PS. So 1400 ops, 5 77 WOA against Justin dun granted three starts, but like still
Speaker 1 00:10:20 Geez, still. So Reese at 3,200. Yep. I mean
Speaker 2 00:10:25 Coming off a big
Speaker 1 00:10:25 Game, coming off a big game, we talked about not playing catches, but real MUO did Homer tonight. Yep. 3,200. Again, if you're just going in that, that Philly stack Philly stack 30 plus percent roster ship for like all of them on drafting every
Speaker 2 00:10:38 So they were, and they were, I can fill you in a secret. They were that and more on Fandel Kyle Schwarber was 60% roster. I
Speaker 1 00:10:47 Cause he was so cheap on Fandel. So scrolling down a little bit here. Mountain castles at 29 again, where if you're want just be a little bit different. I don't think many people will play Baltimore, but we do like some of the power. I'm good. We're just stacking, stacking Toronto. Again, Kirk actually had a decent game tonight. You're gonna play Vladi, but they do have the utility option there. So you know, if you find your way, he is a four hitter keeps on raking, certainly kind could find his way into some lineups there. And then a man Simi at $2,700. I'm good at,
Speaker 2 00:11:17 Yeah, I think Mancini, vole B for me under three K Kirk. I agree on Kirk, but the other two would be Mancini. Vole B vole B just keeps on keeping on dude. Yeah. Keeps on. Keeping on.
Speaker 1 00:11:27 Yeah. And Mancini again. Talk about power upside Homer. The other day had two hits a game before that. So having himself a series here against Minnesota now gets Chris Archer. So
Speaker 2 00:11:38 Big ignite tonight too. No, I think he had a good game. I think he had another I'm looking through, I would open it on my computer, but I don't want my computer to crash. Okay.
Speaker 1 00:11:47 You don't want your computer
Speaker 2 00:11:48 Not acting one for two? Yeah. Homer again. Okay.
Speaker 1 00:11:51 So back to back games, then it was homers for him. So
Speaker 2 00:11:54 Yeah. I mean what right. What did we say there?
Speaker 1 00:11:57 No, I'm sorry. So fando showed tonight's game. So he Homer tonight. Okay. And he, he had two hits on the day before that. So
Speaker 2 00:12:03 We talked about this when he, when the trade happened, he would've had like eight or nine more home runs, right? Yeah. If he had played his, the full season in Houston. So yep. Paying off that, trade's paying off for the Astros
Speaker 1 00:12:15 A hundred percent. Uh I'll throw, I'll throw stuff brown out there too, if we're just okay. You know, again, Ty on the road hasn't been great. 2,400 clean up hitter, you know, maybe something there for Oakland. Okay. Second base position two at the top Homer today had a big day. Yep. Paid, certainly paid off its price point. Only $3,700. You know, top price guy with 3,700 bucks. Isn't awful. You know, to spend there, we talked about Archer and that matchup for him after that. Where are you? Where are you looking in the, in this second base spot?
Speaker 2 00:12:40 Archer has weirdly like Nu good numbers. Yeah,
Speaker 1 00:12:43 He is in pitching. Okay. He still got an erase slightly above four, but you know, he is kind of skirted some damage. I don't think that holds up against Houston here.
Speaker 2 00:12:51 I think L two a for sure. I think gene ser is fine.
Speaker 1 00:12:54 Did he have three or four hits tonight?
Speaker 2 00:12:56 Yeah. Three hits. Tonight's super consistent. Like he's just a good hit. Always a good player. Professional hitter. Yeah. Always a good player. I have been playing a lot of Jeff McNeil just cuz another guy who's not going to hit for power, but continues to just hit.
Speaker 1 00:13:10 He's got, he's got four doubles in the last three games or last four games. So,
Speaker 2 00:13:14 And on Vandal, that's a two, 1.2 extra points. Cause I think it's 6.2 or six point, whatever it is on Vandal. So Bryson's not another good game for him. He continues to rake and that's, I mean, you know, shout out to Dola, but this isn't the slate for you, Doug. So
Speaker 1 00:13:31 Right. Probably not 24. All of the, a guys are free.
Speaker 2 00:13:36 Every single one of them is second base eligible and free. So if you wanna go there,
Speaker 1 00:13:41 Oh, who is this here? Romey. Gonzalez. Maybe. I don't know if you wanna throw him in there for mid price. Two K guy. But uh, he had two hits tonight for the, uh, he's only played three game. The, the white SOS for the white Sox. So,
Speaker 2 00:13:52 You know, it's
Speaker 1 00:13:53 Sure you don't need to go there. He is just a two K guy.
Speaker 2 00:13:55 Yeah. He's two K
Speaker 1 00:13:56 Third base. Bregman's at 43 S is at 38 again, not really playing devils against Gosman but we're clearly in on Houston I think against his spot against Archer and the twins eventual bullpen at $4,300 Chapman at three K would probably be my next stop of guys we haven't discussed yet. I know you're obviously in BOM as well. Yep.
Speaker 2 00:14:15 Yeah. I'm probably, I would probably play Bo, but it's also dependent cuz like I think BOM is over Chapman and cash. Like that's a lock, but in tournaments, if you're playing blue Jays like Chapman is
Speaker 1 00:14:27 He's the forgotten blue Jay.
Speaker 2 00:14:28 Yeah. He it's funny. I was gonna message you today. He was, I was looking through ownership and he was sorted by team and he was like clear cut the lowest of the starters. Yeah. I was like, no surprise there. Right? I mean like we like Capella, but you know what? We like John
Speaker 1 00:14:44 I'd say road, Josh Donaldson, man
Speaker 2 00:14:46 Road, Josh Donaldson, $2,800 has been pretty good Capri by the way as well. And we're gonna get to it with a couple more Yankees. We didn't mention labor. You could PlayLab we didn't mention lame. You could play lame. Hu sure. Brilliant. Actually struggles far more with righties eight, 20 ops 3 56 to righties, which again plays into our hand with Donaldson who only does anything on the road? 3 53 WOBA on the road this year. So I think John Johnson pretty sneaky. I don't think a lot of people are gonna
Speaker 1 00:15:15 Go there 2,800 bucks. Yeah. Again, the consensus of the Yankees are struggling. So now you get 'em in a big ballpark against Oakland and you may not be a fan, but you've been in on that for a while now. So falls, let's see O wild bears, 2,400 if he finds something to the lineup. And then again, all these Oakland guys up this street. So I don't have anybody else though. No. Okay. A short stop position. Lindor's at the top here at 37 Korea against the Garcia at 31. Mate's at 3,100. So price bump for him on, on Fandel pay is at three K Bo rash. She at 2,900 though. I mean
Speaker 2 00:15:50 Yeah, yeah. They've this is, it's been a kind of trend on FAL. I've noticed lately.
Speaker 1 00:15:55 Yeah. He's got five hits the last three games for she. So maybe he's starting to turn it around.
Speaker 2 00:16:00 I like that has literally been every time I've ever written boa shut up in the playbook this year. It's been like after like a three game hitting streak. I'm like maybe there's signs
Speaker 1 00:16:10 Of life. Yeah. Maybe here it is. Yeah.
Speaker 2 00:16:12 And then it just doesn't happen. But you know, we just saw cutter Crawford give up a hundred home, runs in one game. So
Speaker 1 00:16:18 It's still Fenway park where it's a friendly
Speaker 2 00:16:20 And it's still, it's still Fenway. So I like cutter Crawford. Also. We didn't like, look what the red Sox just did to this Toronto lineup tonight. Like they're just, they are underwhelming. They're going to be popular. So I couldn't fault you for continuing to fade them because you know, they haven't been as good as we thought they would be.
Speaker 1 00:16:39 I mean they did face. So I mean, in fairness and I guess may you know, they did face Brian BEO tonight and I know that he had struggled, but he is considered one of the best, better pitching prospects in baseball only came off the IL and actually looked pretty good today. So, you know, I'll give them a small pass. You know, they faced a kid that's supposed to be a really good pitcher. Cut. Crawford is not that guy. So
Speaker 2 00:17:01 I'm just looking, I mean, I guess, you know, 12th against writing this month in WOBA so like 12th and ops. Yep. 12th in ISO. Like so they're middle of the above league average. Yeah. So,
Speaker 1 00:17:17 All right, let's go to outfield. Yep. The judge has been homering. Is it 4,800?
Speaker 2 00:17:21 Yep. And we mentioned, and I just mentioned Capelli struggles more against varieties. So I think this could be a good
Speaker 1 00:17:27 Spot. 4,800 for him. We always know that Y on's a guy that's in play. Tucker's at 4k. Those are the top three price guys Springer at 39. I, again, I just like another three hits today. You know, it's just, he's been after missing a couple games. There he is been on fire leading off at $3,900. Okay. Is at 37. Stanton is expected to come off the IL for this, this game. Yep. I don't know how, if that impacts your thoughts at all.
Speaker 2 00:17:54 I mean, I, listen, I think the Yankees ready are like firmly and play against caper. Sure. I think that they have shown some signs of life. I mean, there's a three game winning streak here, judges Homer again, that's like been the Mo of the Yankees when they're, when judges home run. Like we've been really good and that's what's happening. And Capri struggles are so varieties and the Yankees are like super righty heavy. So if Stanton 3,600, like I'm not, I would not. I play him in like if I'm playing 10 lineups, like one yeah. In a tournament. But yeah, if you're playing Yankee stack, if he's in, like he's gonna hit fourth. Right. So,
Speaker 1 00:18:30 Yep. Uh, te Oscar's at 3,300, Schwar Wes at 32.
Speaker 2 00:18:34 You think Philly's are, Philly's probably super popular again with Justin done on the probably we're gonna see another super popular day
Speaker 1 00:18:40 Forwar. You mentioned there's the righties, you know, Schwarber obviously like, but
Speaker 2 00:18:43 True. But Schwarber also like just defies logic, something like he just hits home, runs off guys. You,
Speaker 1 00:18:49 All he does is hit home runs. So he only hits 200, so. Sure. True. It doesn't do much else. Mullin's at 31. Roberts is at 31. Yeah. Knows again. If you're growing right. He's at 2,900 bucks kind of thing. People will be on that one. Yep. Nimo all the way down to 2,800 bucks. I don't hate that. Leading off against Fenner potentially. You've mentioned McNeil all.
Speaker 2 00:19:09 Oh, Austin Hayes gets the right. He's been better against righties.
Speaker 1 00:19:11 Yep. Austin Hayes gets the right. He's been better against rites Kepler. Any thoughts on Kepler here,
Speaker 2 00:19:15 Dude? He's been so disappointing this year. So, so disappointing. Like
Speaker 1 00:19:20 2,600 for him gets Garcia.
Speaker 2 00:19:23 I know we wanna pick on Garcia, but like the last time max, Kepler, Homer isn't even on the screen. Sure. It's not, we can't even scroll past July 10th. Like I don't know where the power has been sapped into it. Just S leaked into Fernando SSA's hair with the steroids that he was taking. But Kepler just, he's just not doing it for me this
Speaker 1 00:19:45 Year. Anybody else for you? Any other value guys that you're taking a peek at then
Speaker 2 00:19:49 On sandal? I just don't see anything. No, I we'd have to see lineups before. I mean, this is bad down here. I don't think there's there. There has to be something probably cuz especially if you wanna pay 40,
Speaker 1 00:20:03 You could just keep the revenge narrative play with Jackie Bradley. Jr. He's actually had a good series against Boston.
Speaker 2 00:20:08 So yeah, if you play Jackie Bradley Jr. You know, let me know what contest be your guest. Yeah. Let me know what contest you're planning.
Speaker 1 00:20:14 All right. Gimme your home run call then
Speaker 2 00:20:15 Home run. Call.
Speaker 1 00:20:16 No course. So we we're good. We don't have to worry about it.
Speaker 2 00:20:18 No course don't have to worry about it. What are you thinking here? Give me your thoughts on it.
Speaker 1 00:20:23 I'm gonna go with George
Speaker 2 00:20:25 Spring. That's a really good one. I was also looking into Boston. I'll go. You know what? Real Moto has been really damn good. He's had like a thousand ops since the all star break, four home runs in August. I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go Realto homers and backpack games here.
Speaker 1 00:20:42 Okay. Let's go build our lineup. Then I'll say this. As we went along, I didn't really see a ton of, of like QK guys that we were yeah. Talking about.
Speaker 2 00:20:50 I mean, I think
Speaker 1 00:20:52 It'll be plug into GRA, like you mentioned 2,800. Oh we need a value. Let's go back down into that two K range who stands out to us? Their Nimo is 28. Donaldson. We like Donaldson, right? 28.
Speaker 2 00:21:05 Yeah. We like Donald 20 seora
Speaker 1 00:21:07 At 28.
Speaker 2 00:21:08 That's interesting. Scott was around that price tag too. Wasn't he wasn't sta around
Speaker 1 00:21:13 Around 27.
Speaker 2 00:21:15 I feel like stat has just been super consist lately. So I put him
Speaker 1 00:21:19 24, but we didn't really love that spot.
Speaker 2 00:21:22 No, we didn't love that spot for him. I can see the Mets running Tyler Naquin $2,200. He just spends bad lately. He was super good. When they originally got
Speaker 1 00:21:31 Him. Your boy, Chad Pinder is 23. We
Speaker 2 00:21:33 Have to fade to GRA.
Speaker 1 00:21:35 I'm not fading him. I'm figuring out a line to get him in there. Donaldson. Sta
Speaker 2 00:21:40 We're just gonna have no, like there's gonna be no ju like we could play Austin Hayes. We can play Mancini 2,700. We like Trey Mancini. We like that match up quite a bit. We
Speaker 1 00:21:53 Did. We're still at 20 half. We need a two K we pretty much need a two K.
Speaker 2 00:21:56 Yeah. We need to prompt.
Speaker 1 00:21:57 We need to settle in on a two K or likely gonna be a
Speaker 2 00:22:01 Oakland, an Oakland athletic. Let's see. Let's see. Do we have, so Taiwan has been worse against lefties. So Seth brown has been their best hitter. He's been their best hitter against right-handed pitching 16. Home runs three 30. WOBA I know Tony Kemp has been good lately. 2300. He had second and by good at Oakland athletics standard. Good. That's not saying very much. Yeah. I mean they're the cheapest team on the board. We could build a pretty good lineup with the Phillies overall too. They hit Lang had a really good game tonight, two for three with a triple he's now gone home, run triple and back to back games. 18 plus fantasy points. If we'd wanted to avoid a Oakland,
Speaker 1 00:22:50 I'm up the three K a player at the moment.
Speaker 2 00:22:52 Who did you use? Seth brown?
Speaker 1 00:22:54 I did.
Speaker 2 00:22:54 Okay. So run through, let's run through the lineup real quick.
Speaker 1 00:22:56 I got DRO and Cini seora Donaldson dot and brown with two outfields and a utility remaining. You liked Hoskins, right? Can we,
Speaker 2 00:23:08 You have Mancini in the outfield?
Speaker 1 00:23:10 No, I have him at first catcher.
Speaker 2 00:23:12 Where does Seth brown? He's an outfield eligible player
Speaker 1 00:23:15 On yeah. Hoskins is only 32. We throw him in the util.
Speaker 2 00:23:19 Yep. Agreed for
Speaker 1 00:23:20 Sure. Right. And then we have 22 outfielders at 2,900 a piece. So let's throw him he's at 28. McNeil's 27.
Speaker 2 00:23:28 So I think we're split there cuz I probably go McNeil and I think you'd probably go Nimo I think McNeil has been better form. I do agree that it's obviously like a bonus that we get more at bats for Brandon. Nimo right. Cuz he'll lead off. Yeah. Castanos is 29. I don't know if we want to keep just yeah.
Speaker 1 00:23:49 I'll up Philly. The four Phillies. Right? We got the, the 5, 6, 7 projection right now with Hoskins hitting projected second that gives us a three K outfielder to fill in the final spot.
Speaker 2 00:24:01 Three K outfielder to fill in the final spot. What are you feeling here? I mean, it's probably one of the Mets right against ner.
Speaker 1 00:24:08 I mean can is three K never.
Speaker 2 00:24:10 Yeah. We don't need to spend every, yeah, we don't need to spend every dollar. What do you think here?
Speaker 1 00:24:14 Yeah,
Speaker 2 00:24:15 We could go John, if you don't want to go full Phillies, you know what I'm thinking? We could do it. Save we'll save a hundred dollars. I think it will get us to 3,100. Sure. And it'll get us like Mullins or Luis. Robert. We could do we leave Sura off. We move stat to second and we play Bobba she?
Speaker 1 00:24:35 Oh yeah. I like that.
Speaker 2 00:24:37 You wanna do that? Yeah. Where we could now plug stat into second with, and then we're not running a full Phillys. We're running a free man. Right. And does that, is that
Speaker 1 00:24:47 That's? No, that's only 2,900. Bette's more, but I actually don't mind that getting Beche in that spot.
Speaker 2 00:24:52 I think Bette has probably more upside than cigar does.
Speaker 1 00:24:55 Right. Even though SIG us lacing,
Speaker 2 00:24:57 Even though cigar has been good. Sure. Lord,
Speaker 1 00:25:00 If I meez is in the lineup, I could do a one off of Eloy.
Speaker 2 00:25:04 Yeah. That could be true.
Speaker 1 00:25:06 He's been hitting, he's been hitting the ball really well lately. He hasn't hit. He's just missed today's game.
Speaker 2 00:25:11 He's been good this year in general. Super good.
Speaker 1 00:25:13 Yeah. It doesn't seem like he missed he's missing it for a reason. I mean,
Speaker 2 00:25:17 Elbow, it's an elbow.
Speaker 1 00:25:18 They say elbow, but they don't mention elbow. And like the reason he sat out so
Speaker 2 00:25:22 Well, he also only had two at bats in that and they pulled Tuesday game or yeah, in the Tuesday. Oh no. He had two walks. So he played a full game.
Speaker 1 00:25:30 Why don't we walk INO here as a let's
Speaker 2 00:25:33 Just provide. Yeah. And we'll provide like who Nimo thats our pivot. Yeah. That works. If you guys are watching Nemo's our pivot.
Speaker 1 00:25:40 Yeah. So we have Drom Mancini, Scott Donaldson, Beche brown OS and Hoskins. And we have a three man Philly stack of Castanos Hoskins in stock.
Speaker 2 00:25:53 I will say in, if we were submitting this sign up, which we will have switched Seth brown to till just in case of a late scratch. Sure. That's something that commonly happens. And especially we're playing three guys that are eligible for first base. So we'll be able and we'll be able to swap things around. But yeah. Um, we just saw Juan Soto, scratch, scratch the other night and people couldn't switch to lineup. But if that happens before Rolo, it's obviously we're able to switch with
Speaker 1 00:26:19 Seth around. Obviously again, if we were to pivot out from the ground to Goman, we'd have 2000 more dollars to play around with right. And could make a more cohesive lineup. But if you want get Drom in here, I think we're pretty comfortable. I think we're pretty comfortable with what we're looking at. So that's what we got.
