Speaker 0 00:00:00 Ladies and John, you're listening to the fantasy alarm, lb DFS podcast with host John IBA and James Broe.
Speaker 1 00:00:10 What's going on foundation, John and PBA here with James Grimmy. This is the quick pitch lb DFS podcast recording here for Friday's keen game. Main slate. James th 13 games. We had 11 yesterday. We had 13th today. No shortage of games for us to pick through no shortage of players for us to, uh, build our lineup with
Speaker 2 00:00:28 Yeah. With the all star break year. They've really just decided to give as much baseball as possible this week.
Speaker 1 00:00:35 It's true. We're after Sunday, we're off till Friday, right?
Speaker 2 00:00:38 Yeah. After, yeah. Off till Friday. Yep.
Speaker 1 00:00:40 Weather for today. Nothing. Right. We got one.
Speaker 2 00:00:43 Maybe no. And Colorado could have a delay, but it looks fine. I
Speaker 1 00:00:47 Guess we had one. Yeah. Right. I
Speaker 2 00:00:49 Mean it's early slate, rain out. We didn't even have to
Speaker 1 00:00:51 Early
Speaker 2 00:00:52 Out. And that's the Mets Cubs. Yeah. So just check back with our DFS alarm.com/lb/weather for further details later, if there's any updates there.
Speaker 1 00:01:03 So we do have cores on the slate though, as you mentioned. So that is, uh,
Speaker 2 00:01:05 Oh, can we get rid of co like
Speaker 1 00:01:07 Pittsburgh, if you get rid of cores, you have to get rid of Cincinnati. Not that they're playing in Cincinnati tonight, but Cincinnati is averaging more runs per game than cores this year.
Speaker 2 00:01:14 I'm just saying, I feel like every Slate's cores, every pretty
Speaker 1 00:01:17 Late feels that way. So Pittsburgh's playing in Colorado for this weekend.
Speaker 2 00:01:21 I know it's the worst course slate efforts.
Speaker 1 00:01:23 Yeah. It's not great. It's not great. All right, let's go to pitching. Then. Woodruff is at the top. We saw Corbin burns just shut down San Francisco last night, since coming back into the rotation, Woodrow strikeout numbers are right where we expect them to be. That said he's faced Tampa bay, Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh, three very high strikeout or three starts against two highest rego teams. We've mentioned though, San Francisco laid they've been striking out a ton, but is he worth 10,000, $200 to you? When Robbie raised at 98, clay K has at 94, Al Manno is at nine K and U Darwish gets like his eighth start against a diamond
Speaker 2 00:01:57 Year and you could definitely play Woodruff. And I think there's upside and he's given us 30 fancy points a bunch of time this year. It's a great pitchers park. So I have nothing against it. Robbie, Ray's been really good lately. Two 60 RAs last 10 starts three 50 on the year. So obviously improvements there. I still prefer Woodruff and Ray. I think Texas offense has been quite good with Simian and Seager just coming through pretty much every night. Now Clinton Kershaw though, John that's. I think that's where I'm gonna go pitch count no more or pitch a limit. I should say no more. This guy is y'all must have forgot. Right? As Israel aasan once said y'all must have forgot how good this dude was. And this is literally the best picture of our decade. I would say he has looked incredible. His last two starts one and run over those over that span. 18 strikeouts over 14 and two thirds, one walk because he just doesn't walk people. His only bad start to date is in Colorado surprise. So 9,400 against a team that strikes out more than anyone in baseball. It's kind of a no brainer for me. And then I will say Al Manoah gets a minor league roster and yes, Kevin Gosman didn't exactly come through, but he was good. Six innings, six strikeouts, two runs. He
Speaker 1 00:03:12 Was days for way more strikeouts. And then the Royal just started like first pitch swinging on him. Yeah. And he was that kind of ruined some of the strike up potential there.
Speaker 2 00:03:20 Yeah. And I have, so I have no, no problem going to Manoa here. I think Woodruff is fine, but Kershaw Manoa is likely where I'm gonna live just based on look at their price tax man. So appealing.
Speaker 1 00:03:34 Yeah. Very appealing for sure. Below that, as I mentioned, garish gets Arizona. He's faced them twice. He's allowed just one run, four hits and 13 innings. But he has what and Arizona, they are what they are at times they can be scrappy. But like I said, last start seven innings, four hits, one earned, run five strikeouts, and he's had a lot of success. And that first start against them was the near no hitter. They took him out cuz it, his first start of the year, he's had their number this year, uh, has, has Darvish against Arizona returning Nathan Aldi out on don't really care for Alex Wood Sandoval against Dodgers. Not gonna go there. Your key at AK. Not for me, Monty again, not somebody I'm looking at. Is there a guy, I guess, below Darvish that you would have interest below
Speaker 2 00:04:17 Darvish as much.
Speaker 1 00:04:19 I gave you a whole player pool. I know the guys immediately below Darvish. I don't really like,
Speaker 2 00:04:25 Yeah. It's tough to go of all the off the IL, but the Yankees have been bad and susceptible to strike out. So if there's no limit, I don't hate it. It's probably, or, but like it doesn't
Speaker 1 00:04:35 Very good at home. You're Katie.
Speaker 2 00:04:38 Very good at home. Just like kind of dominated the A's. I know there was only two strikeouts, but eight innings, three runs.
Speaker 1 00:04:45 He's not a big strikeout guy.
Speaker 2 00:04:47 So not a big strikeout guy did have eight against the angel surprise two strike ago. Look, the consistency has been there. Five straight, double digit fantasy point starts. He's only AK he's at home. He gets Oakland. It's probably your key for me. And the rest of the position just kind of feels like torments, torment
Speaker 1 00:05:04 Guards. Yeah. But Taylor, Tyler Wells has been pitching better of late the last start aside against the angels where they, uh, they pulled them after 81 pitches in four innings, Minnesota went six, one run, Seattle, five innings, one run, Washington, five shut out Toronto, six innings, one earned the quality starts against Kansas city. Before that he's been pretty decent, but Tampa Bay's offense again can be a bit frustrating at times, but they make a lot, they strike out a lot, but they also have guys that like make a lot of contact, right? He's 7,400 police acts a splits guy. If you look at his home numbers this year, 2.85 era and he gets Detroit. He faced Detroit once, already six innings too earned. But again, doesn't strike anybody else. So he has to get that for there to be value there in my opinion. And then after that, I'm with you there. There's not really much that I want exposure to
Speaker 2 00:05:52 Here. Yeah. I think both the guys you mentioned are firm land play. I think Wells is solid and I think police act Detroit shakes out 24% of the time against right. Handers. I know like police act, isn't a strikeout guy, but I think there's a little room for potential there. But the rest of it's just, you're just throwing.
Speaker 1 00:06:08 Darts has pitch. Well, and last start against Houston is which was his last start. He didn't get the win six innings, two earned though. Houston's start gonna hit lefty is better though. The team we knew that we figured they were, but weren't in the beginning of the year where they couldn't hit any lefties. They're back to hitting lefties again.
Speaker 2 00:06:25 Yeah. Yeah. I'm probably out on Ivin. He has made two decent stars. Three earned runs over 11 and two thirds,
Speaker 1 00:06:31 Toronto and Houston about two good teams.
Speaker 2 00:06:34 He's faced Houston twice this year and 11 and two thirds, three earned. So his first start he went five and two thirds or yeah, five and two thirds. One earned grunt, not a strikeout guy though. If you're not missing, I don't know, man, if you're not missing bats and you're letting Houston put the ball in play, that's scary. But there is no yard in Alva. So that is something to mention. But I'm not gonna put, I'm not playing the guy on a 13 games later. I don't think. Okay.
Speaker 1 00:06:58 So it's just a recap here. You like Woodruff, Kershaw, man, Noah at the top Darvish and your key in the middle. And then if we're looking at some G value guys, Wells and police act
Speaker 2 00:07:09 Then yeah. Would you play book? Would you play Bumgarner? Just look thinking about it. No, no you wouldn't San Diego. Like
Speaker 1 00:07:16 I here's the thing, I know what the numbers are on the surface on the back end though. If you look at fan graphs, everything is trash. He's just getting away with it. I don't know how he is getting away with it, but he is getting away with it.
Speaker 2 00:07:29 No, there's just not like great against lefties. And
Speaker 1 00:07:33 I've been like, I know. And I've been like touting the blow up for Bumgarner for a few starts now. And we haven't been able, we haven't gotten it yet. He's just managed to pitch through it. And I know against San Diego this year three starts, his most recent start was pretty decent five and a third. But before that four innings, six runs, four of them were earned and his first start of the year only went three innings. Again, if you just look at some of the underlying numbers on him, they're just so bad. His like X era is like almost five is batting average in Boston play is, is like unsustainable low. He doesn't strike anybody out. There's to me, they're just there's okay. Due for a big blow up here.
Speaker 2 00:08:11 Okay. I just thrown it out there. Just maybe another option, but
Speaker 1 00:08:15 Like 3, 6, 5 era, a four eight X era, a a four, seven, fifth, right? Like a career low K or nine
Speaker 2 00:08:22 Regression in
Speaker 1 00:08:23 Route at some point. Yeah. I think teams are gonna start scoring on 'em a bit more consistently if you wanna temp fade again. Sure. $6,700. He's he has put up good numbers. Maybe catch, catch him.
Speaker 2 00:08:37 Let's go.
Speaker 1 00:08:38 Are you spending up? Are we looking in the middle?
Speaker 2 00:08:40 Hard to not look at Patrick Corbin being on the Mount <laugh> first and foremost. Maybe both brain catchers.
Speaker 1 00:08:45 Last time you said that though. How did that
Speaker 2 00:08:47 Work? Okay. Don't you dare. I think last time was like Pittsburgh. Wasn't it? I swear. The last time we talked
Speaker 1 00:08:53 So against Atlanta, six innings, four earned against my am. Seven innings, one earned against Pittsburgh, eight innings, one earned. So like he's kind of been okay.
Speaker 2 00:09:03 Are you not, are we, what are your thoughts on Corbin then?
Speaker 1 00:09:06 No, I still wanna stack against him. Who's
Speaker 2 00:09:08 Pointing out. Yeah. I think both catchers for me are in play. They both hit left. He's extremely well. So I'm gonna potentially play both. I don't think you need to go will Smith 52. He's been really good against leftees but that's like a scary price tag to pay Cal rally. So Taylor Hern, John is gonna be the bulk pitcher here. Yeah. So I assume Bush doesn't even see rally, right? Rally's first step. Bat's gonna probably come against a lefty. Cause it killer her.
Speaker 1 00:09:39 Well, Riley plays in the middle, hits in the middle of the lineup.
Speaker 2 00:09:41 I guess it depends
Speaker 1 00:09:42 Right in Seattle. Get some guys on then. Yeah.
Speaker 2 00:09:44 Maybe Cal row
Speaker 1 00:09:46 Riley's power all comes against righthand pitching. He's a better hitter against lefthanded pitching.
Speaker 2 00:09:51 I dunno. What else? Uh, Elias Diaz lefty really
Speaker 1 00:09:54 Well gets, you know, 3,800, you know, he is facing an ACE here, so
Speaker 2 00:09:59 True. Just another two hit day for Tyler Stevenson. No big deal
Speaker 1 00:10:03 Gentleman hit or right there. You professional hitter rather. So yeah. Stevenson's probably gonna be a lot of my lineups just because of he's good, right?
Speaker 2 00:10:10 Yeah, he is good. Very good.
Speaker 1 00:10:11 It's the middle lineup hits for some power hits for good average. Yeah. Steven for me is an all play. If you wanna find a different guy to go around him, that's cool. But for $3,800, I don't think you buy, you got a better value.
Speaker 2 00:10:24 The only other like values. I would say Debbie Zal Homer yesterday. I love the white socks today. Devon Selzer is dust. I'm gonna start calling him dust Smeltzer, cuz that's what he is. $3,600 for his beef coming off the home run 3 24 average over his last 10, 3 0 3 for the year. I like that.
Speaker 1 00:10:43 Yeah, that's good. I like it too. Any other value if
Speaker 2 00:10:46 Christian, if the rays keep batting Christian be in court like third and fifth and stuff.
Speaker 1 00:10:50 I know they did trade for him. So
Speaker 2 00:10:52 Yeah. They're literally hitting him like in the middle of that line.
Speaker 1 00:10:55 There's another Yondi Diaz.
Speaker 2 00:10:57 <laugh> yeah. Apparently 30 years old. He's just gonna start hitting. Yeah, I guess if he's in lineup and I, Michael Perez gets Herman marque in Colorado and not that I wanna play Michael Perez, but he does have three home runs in a game this year. That's only his only claim to fame ever, but yep.
Speaker 1 00:11:13 I hear you. All right. First base O Tommy's up to $6,400.
Speaker 2 00:11:18 That's about what they press him as a pitcher. So it's almost
Speaker 1 00:11:21 There. We're not gonna do that against K shot though. Freeman also gets a lefty. I don't mind Rizzo in New York against Aldi. If you wanna test EAL fresh off, the IL certainly can do that. You do have Chrome against Cantana inside of a inside a course, even though Crohn's been better against righties, still to good splits matchup. You mentioned white Sox against melter, a bra U 5,200 lock and yeah. For him as well.
Speaker 2 00:11:46 Yeah, I think, I think I'm mostly gonna go to a Brau there and some Crohn chairs if I'm playing course and then I'll play, obviously I'll play Vladi at 5k app. I'm not worried about them from one like yesterday. Right? They had a bad game yesterday. I'm not necessarily worried about that.
Speaker 1 00:12:02 Yeah.
Speaker 2 00:12:03 Blue Jays are blue. Jays are firmly back and play. They let all of us down yesterday. So they're going to score. Yeah. A minimum of 15 runs at two, 2%
Speaker 1 00:12:12 Ownership. I know we like a lot of the Cardinals generally against lefties, but I put this, I mentioned this in the last time I wrote up green, he gives up a boatload of home, runs,
Speaker 2 00:12:21 Whole load
Speaker 1 00:12:22 Of home runs and he throws a lot of fast balls. Gold. Schmid definitely, probably has some home run upside today. Yeah, sure. Oros got home run upside today, but I don't think anybody's gonna be playing. No, I think there's gonna be some potential tournament leverage with the Cardinals here.
Speaker 2 00:12:37 A hundred percent agree. I think that's a great call. Cause Nope, like you just said, I think the spend up are gonna be a bra and Vlad and cor cuz cores. Everyone's gonna ignore it. Oh, why would we play hitters in St. Louis? That's cuz they can hit four home runs and right score 10 runs. Hunter green is obviously a crazy arm talent, but he hasn't proven to be like, he can't put it all together. So yeah. I'm totally with John.
Speaker 1 00:13:00 Yep. Anybody in the mid here
Speaker 2 00:13:01 Who VO against the lefty. If you do think the Blowout's gonna blow ups gonna happen for Bumgarner, even though VOT has been better. Frank
Speaker 1 00:13:08 Is allow the most home runs in baseball by the way, just to close
Speaker 2 00:13:11 That. Uh, yeah. Hunter green.
Speaker 1 00:13:13 Yeah. Hunter green. Yeah. Most home runs a lot in baseball this season.
Speaker 2 00:13:15 So I, I feel like it, is it like a wide margin? Like I wouldn't be surprised.
Speaker 1 00:13:19 Like it's actually kind of funny. It's green and Jozy gray have given up 22 and 21,
Speaker 2 00:13:25 Ah,
Speaker 1 00:13:25 Their numbers. Anyone
Speaker 2 00:13:26 Else? 20?
Speaker 1 00:13:27 Their numbers are very similar in terms of 107 strikeouts for green, 106 for gray innings are similar 77 hits the 78 hits lot. But it's kind of, kind of parallels to big strikeout guys who give up a lot of home runs basically when their fast ball goes straight. They hit him outta the
Speaker 2 00:13:43 Ballpark. Yeah. I don't know if I would play anyone in the mid tier. I guess boy, France. France is gonna get majority of his bats against Taylor Hern. That's pretty good. I guess I take aback like Andrew VA against the left E is great. But again, it's the problem. Not having outfit eligibility. That kind of stinks. Right?
Speaker 1 00:14:00 Homework yesterday.
Speaker 2 00:14:01 Nailer. Yeah. Played a lot of Josh nailer yesterday. I think it's a good spot against you. Hutchson he stinks even though he's been good, but he stinks, right? Like we know he stinks VO buck 3,400, I think is interesting. John, going back, dipping into the value tier.
Speaker 1 00:14:14 It is. Yep. And you get the match up in cores for him. So I in let's see anybody else for you
Speaker 2 00:14:20 Pez. If you're again, he's been really bad. But if you wanna do, if you want to be different, UEZ has first outfield eligibility. So maybe one, your pest could be a play. If you wanted attack. Michael Copic, Jose Miranda continues to rake 3 44 average. And if you don't want, if you wanna attack Alex Wood, Keston HIRA has been super good lately 3 30, 3 average over his last 10 games, $2,900. And we know Alex Wood has been pretty bad this year. Right?
Speaker 1 00:14:46 That's a good point. All right, let's go on over to second base then. Let me see real quick. Did I see something down here? Did you mention Mancini?
Speaker 2 00:14:54 Yeah. No I didn't
Speaker 1 00:14:55 2,820
Speaker 2 00:14:57 $800. Huh? That's interesting why they hate the race or they hate the Orioles. Yeah. Mount castle 33, John. Yeah. I just realized Luis Patino making his comeback here.
Speaker 1 00:15:08 Yeah.
Speaker 2 00:15:09 Cause he's just opening. I guess there's 70 pitches in his most
Speaker 1 00:15:14 Ralph Garsa junior is, is pitching long relief.
Speaker 2 00:15:17 Matt's a starter though. That's
Speaker 1 00:15:19 Max Arch's
Speaker 2 00:15:20 Cousin. Maybe they kinda look like maybe
Speaker 1 00:15:23 Anyways he's doing longer. It's a rightie. Anyway is what I'm just saying. Like they're very cheap for the power.
Speaker 2 00:15:28 That's interesting.
Speaker 1 00:15:30 Second base, uh, Al Alto if Altus outta the lineup and we know your ends out, would that make Ivin any more interesting to you?
Speaker 2 00:15:37 Maybe a little. Yeah, maybe
Speaker 1 00:15:38 A little. So we'll see what happens there. But we talked about semi already. We're in we're okay. Testing the Yankees here against Aldi Rogers at home against a lefty Absolut big split numbers there. We'll see if he can actually produce cuz he hasn't been, but everything lines up for that to be a good spot for him.
Speaker 2 00:15:55 Yep.
Speaker 1 00:15:55 Anybody else for you?
Speaker 2 00:15:56 Nothing.
Speaker 1 00:15:57 Go back to Cleveland.
Speaker 2 00:15:59 Go back to Cleveland. Jima had a big game for sure. Kevin loves super
Speaker 1 00:16:04 Cheap. Last night, you remember 3,700, another $3,700 today.
Speaker 2 00:16:07 Your boy espel we knows Zach cranky. He's been very bad against him. Right-handed true hitters. Over the years, last couple years, I feel like Josh Harrison has been a little better lately. He has. Maybe if you wanna get some cheap white Sox, cuz they're just super expensive. They're all so expensive. So if you wanna maybe play some Josh Harrison. Sure. Double dig your fancy points in two of three 30, $200.
Speaker 1 00:16:30 That's for me, we didn't mention oh, Miller first base, but he is also $2,400 in second base. So he wanted to really spend down for Cleveland $2,400 for Owen Millers there. Third base, you got Austin. Riley, you got Jose Ramirez to get Ralph field Evers.
Speaker 2 00:16:44 The same question as last night.
Speaker 1 00:16:45 Yeah. Also carpenter and Manny Mato at 5k and a buck.
Speaker 2 00:16:50 I don't freaking know like Jose Ramirez would be the guy for me against drew Hutchinson. But I think we saw this match up like a week ago and Ramirez didn't do anything. Right. That's very frustrating. I think it's still Ramirez and Riley for me. And we always say this about devs every time there's a lefty on the Mount. It doesn't matter. So don't be deterred by devs. If you wanna play him, he's very good against lefty. So I still think it's Ramirez and Riley for me at the top, but I'm perfectly fine if I end on nevers as well.
Speaker 1 00:17:20 Okay. I agree with you under 5k. I mentioned you. You have Bregman. He's fine for me. Anato with the home run potential also in play. Josh Roja keeps hitting. I know it's against you ish, but he's $4,500 there. SWO as we'll get the lefties her at some point and the mid tiered, he also can play.
Speaker 2 00:17:38 Yeah, he's been good too. I agree on all front Justin Turner for tournaments against Sandoval, Luis for tournaments against Alex Wood as well on the fork range. And John, I was laughing so hard last night when Matt Chapman had a home run and that was the only run the blue Jay scored because on the pod yesterday, you were like, you could always play Matt Chapman cuz he's the guy that usually right. The guy we leave out. And he's the only one that had
Speaker 1 00:18:02 St all run to a Chapman homers. Yeah.
Speaker 2 00:18:05 Literally the only run they scored was Matt Chapman. I thought that was the funniest thing I've of the night. So yeah, that
Speaker 1 00:18:12 Works. Mike Russo is hitting up and gets a lefty here. We used to like Brusso versus lefty.
Speaker 2 00:18:18 We just know that Brusso is going to play two at bats. He's gonna get possibly in a bat, maybe two. Right. And then he's gonna get taken outta the game. So
Speaker 1 00:18:27 He's got three bats in the, in each of the last three starts. You said
Speaker 2 00:18:31 I'm just kidding.
Speaker 1 00:18:32 Yeah. He's in the same spot as we usually get won and HIRA and all those guys.
Speaker 2 00:18:37 Right? Yeah. I think he's a, I think he's a pretty good play. I think he's a fairly disappointed.
Speaker 1 00:18:41 Okay. Two more hits from my guy. Yo Monka last night,
Speaker 2 00:18:44 Dude, look the, I think the way to get the white Sox today, because if you wanna get TA and Abra and Louis, Robert who's on a different planet right now is you play Manca or you play Josh Harrison. Like I think those are two of the ways. Obviously you can pivot to Jose Abra or from Abra to VA. If you wanted to save money and you didn't wanna play Manca or Harrison, but both Manca and Harrison have been kind of good. I'll give him his flowers. It's you know, he's kind of been good lately
Speaker 1 00:19:12 House on Kim saying 360 over his last 30 at bats.
Speaker 2 00:19:16 That's good. That's really good. Been and leading off. Right? I think he's leading off against lefties.
Speaker 1 00:19:22 He maybe
Speaker 2 00:19:23 I'm fairly certain. He is been leading off against lefties. So
Speaker 1 00:19:25 Even better. He's got hits in three straight, three doubles, three RBIS.
Speaker 2 00:19:29 I can get behind it.
Speaker 1 00:19:30 Yep. It's mad. Moment. 32. Any other value? Third basement.
Speaker 2 00:19:34 Nothing that I see at the moment.
Speaker 1 00:19:38 Okay. Go to short stop then. Where are we looking?
Speaker 2 00:19:40 We are looking Trey Turner gets lefty. I know see gets a lefty here, but dude, even in the games, he's not, hoing like he's driving in runs. He's just putting up monster performances. So Seeger another, are we two R B I w yesterday like 1500 Swanson, Homer again yesterday against a left or no, it was against anal. Right? So he homered again,
Speaker 1 00:20:04 Got the first ending off, off anal
Speaker 2 00:20:06 Shit, but like TA I'm stag white. So it's probably TA for me. Yep. As the guy. But I think you can honestly play almost everybody above 5k, like outside of Bobby weight. Yep. I know he homered yesterday, but
Speaker 1 00:20:19 He did. He did Homer. Yeah. I'm with you though. I think Xander 40. Eight's fine paying you if you're not in on Ivin is okay. As well below them. You wanna go in that direction and then if you want to throw some darts at some of the pirates guys, cuz they're in cores, the crew has a ton of power. First cores field experience for noted power hitter, Jose Agius S lefty here hitting
Speaker 2 00:20:39 Power
Speaker 1 00:20:39 Hitter, hitting dude hitting over 300 for the season. Last 10 games, 3 85 with a thousand ops four doubles, two homers. I'm just saying,
Speaker 2 00:20:49 Yeah man. I'm not, I got nothing. I can't
Speaker 1 00:20:52 It's gone beyond jokes now. He's legitimately good.
Speaker 2 00:20:55 I just, I remember he always, they always said he couldn't hit when he went to the red Sox. Right. And he was like, they said
Speaker 1 00:21:01 He hit after they traded him. When he proved he could hit.
Speaker 2 00:21:04 Yeah.
Speaker 1 00:21:05 He had a season where he'll two 80 for Boston. Like guy can't really hit. I'm like, I don't know if that's true. So yeah, again, he's actually been a much better hitter than I think people give him credit for of his career. Garrett. SSON if you wanna go there even cheaper at 27 know says outfield eligibility, you can go there. And then Dylan Moore has outfield shortstop, eligibility. I know my Brandon and Crawford guy, but if Herns gonna be on, I know Herns is gonna play the majority of the game. You get the ready lefty match up for more. If he's in the lineup,
Speaker 2 00:21:30 You're definitely not a Brandon Crawford guy. You're definitely
Speaker 1 00:21:33 JB Crawford guy.
Speaker 2 00:21:34 <laugh> you are definitely a JPB Crawford guy.
Speaker 1 00:21:36 Yes. JB Crawford, correct? That's correct. And then $2,200 basically free is my boy. Jorge bat Mateo.
Speaker 2 00:21:43 Yeah. Fatto again, what is, why are the Orioles like given not that Mateo should be like much more than he is, but he is like very cheap right now. Much cheaper than normal.
Speaker 1 00:21:55 I'm scrolling. I don't see this man. Where is he?
Speaker 2 00:21:58 Who's looking for.
Speaker 1 00:21:59 Wait till we get to outfield. What we can do right now. No.
Speaker 2 00:22:03 Yeah. We missed a second basement. Nope. We're talking about the same guy. Okay. We're good.
Speaker 1 00:22:11 Okay. Go ahead. Go down field.
Speaker 2 00:22:13 I feel the prices are just crazy. Who's your guy. Who do you? Who's your guy.
Speaker 1 00:22:18 Who's my guy. I was we're talking about Baltimore. So I was
Speaker 2 00:22:22 Oh, okay. Not Baltimore. I thought, I just thought you were randomly looking. No,
Speaker 1 00:22:26 I was, we were talking about how cheap Baltimore was. Right. And I was looking for Cedric Mullins and he is $4,300.
Speaker 2 00:22:32 That's stupid. I thought you were just looking at cheap infielders in general. Like I know we were talking about Mateo and then I was like, oh, let me look. I think because they move the kid from the Padres to, to the outfield only who he's $2,000 Ruiz. They're like the kid who was 85 stolen bases in 40 minor league games. Oh
Speaker 1 00:22:51 He's at story.
Speaker 2 00:22:52 Yeah. He's mid salary. So I was like, I thought we were just talking about cheap info.
Speaker 1 00:22:56 He good, fine lefty on the mound, but not bad.
Speaker 2 00:22:59 Yeah. Said, well, 43 is stupid. And again, he's not the same guy as he was last year, at least in terms of power, he does have 23 doubles. Half those doubles last year were leaving the park.
Speaker 1 00:23:10 Right? That, that games are two. Its though. And again, actually
Speaker 2 00:23:13 We're fans, we're, it's
Speaker 1 00:23:14 Affordable. Baltimore's affordable
Speaker 2 00:23:16 Today. Baltimore's also like winners of 10 straight games.
Speaker 1 00:23:18 So they are, they're one of the best teams.
Speaker 2 00:23:20 I think it was like the Yankees red Sox. Dodgers were the only teams since like June 1st with better record than the Orioles. Something along those lines. Yeah. 4,300 for cent. Most is super cheap. The Orioles are definitely contrarian play. Nobody will play them. But it's an easy way. Who are your top stacks? Braves. White socks. Cores. Right? Realistically, those are probably like your three like chalky stacks.
Speaker 1 00:23:44 Yeah. Cleveland, maybe
Speaker 2 00:23:45 Cleveland, but they're like cheaper. So like you can afford them. I feel like the Orioles are like, if you're not playing Cleveland, they're like the other cheap stack you could look at is Baltimore to pair with like your white socks or your yeah. Cores or your braces. Cause the Braves, you can't like the Braves are just so hard to stack because we're running on the Kuya. $6,300 in a great spot. Nope. In this economy. $6,300.
Speaker 1 00:24:15 Yeah. I hear you. All right. If we're going to the top, obviously as we say all the time, pick your stack, pick outfield or put 'em in Chris, Brian at 57. That's cant. That's a definitely a spot. A Kuni gets a left D that we know that's a good splits match forum there.
Speaker 2 00:24:30 Lu Luis. Robert's my favorite outfit there other day.
Speaker 1 00:24:33 Yeah. Yep. Someone woke up Juan Soto in a four 60 with 1500 OPSS last 10.
Speaker 2 00:24:39 Is that good?
Speaker 1 00:24:40 Okay.
Speaker 2 00:24:41 Four 60 kind of good, right? Yeah.
Speaker 1 00:24:43 It's kind of good Anderson. Definitely one guy that has can, can give up runs that's uh, something to 6,500 that geez. Huh? You gotta play all the Baltimore value cuz you can't play an outfield.
Speaker 2 00:24:54 I know. I know you can't well you, it just like you can't afford pitching and hitting today. Like you're just, you're like making a decision on both or one or the other.
Speaker 1 00:25:05 Yep. I'm right there. Lewis. Robert was a good call.
Speaker 2 00:25:07 He's
Speaker 1 00:25:08 Great. We're always in on Toronto outfielders. Yep. JD Martinez said 48. Hundred's fine. If you're on Boston today said in mul, we mentioned 43. Winkers gonna get the lefty. Which kind is unfortunate, but he's a good price at 4,300 as well. We talked about back in Atlanta.
Speaker 2 00:25:26 He's been bad against Lefty's for career. Unfortunately. Winker.
Speaker 1 00:25:29 Let's see Lono
Speaker 2 00:25:32 Maybe. Yeah. Listen, EY, I think is a good play, but go he's coming up like a home run every start this year. Yeah. And he like does not have like great numbers.
Speaker 1 00:25:41 He's not a strikeout guy. So
Speaker 2 00:25:43 Yeah. Everything's in play. Lono has some hunter,
Speaker 1 00:25:47 Renfro againsts wood here. 3,600
Speaker 2 00:25:49 Bur little sneaky lefty stack. They led McCuin off by the way. Last night against or against lefty. Yeah. Rodan started and now they led McCutchen off.
Speaker 1 00:25:58 Okay. Okay. Call or NES back. Went over four last night. But again your stack in St. Louis
Speaker 2 00:26:03 John's favorite player stack
Speaker 1 00:26:05 In St. Louis.
Speaker 2 00:26:06 It been great against lefties this year. John Adam Duval. And I think memory serves. He has in very good numbers against Patrick cor. I've been for 32, which was a 3 44 average two home runs RBIS against Corin. He has 8, 3, 360 4 wo bugs, lefthanded pitching this year as well. Du all 3,400 looks pretty. Oh,
Speaker 1 00:26:31 I like it. I like it. Let's see. We've mentioned already. Lots of more. Let's
Speaker 2 00:26:36 See. Did you mention
Speaker 1 00:26:37 11 Jackinsky is over for his last student?
Speaker 2 00:26:40 No. Yeah. Underdog. I think underdog. And I was wondering why, why? I think it was like four and a half fantasy points. Was, would they opened it at maybe five and a half for se Winky. And I looked I'm like, in course, and then I looked, I was like,
Speaker 1 00:26:52 Oh, for 28 over ref Snyder probably starts, maybe leads off that's Montgomery here.
Speaker 2 00:26:57 Yeah, dude. He's a good hitter. He keep saying it like he, he can that dude
Speaker 1 00:27:01 Can Paulus 33, if you want a cheaper.
Speaker 2 00:27:04 Yep. That's a good one.
Speaker 1 00:27:05 Where's Eloy. Do he PA do he pass him already? Had to him, right.
Speaker 2 00:27:08 He's hurt again.
Speaker 1 00:27:09 Oh, he is hurt again. Figure, I don't know if he's done and again, he was 3,700,
Speaker 2 00:27:12 So, oh, I don't know if he's I don't like he could be in the lineup.
Speaker 1 00:27:15 Yeah. Left leg tightness. So he didn't play yesterday if he's in the line at $3,700.
Speaker 2 00:27:22 Yeah. That's a great play. The white X are gonna be, oh, they're I already can't wait for their two runs tonight. I'm looking forward to it.
Speaker 1 00:27:29 You're preparing yourself. We probably talk about loft, but obviously we generally like him. McCormick is three K. Let's see anybody else for you, Jake Myers, if he's in the lineup, but you should be, do we talk led miss? We must have
Speaker 2 00:27:42 No, we, I just asked. No, I think it's a good play for sure.
Speaker 1 00:27:45 Okay. Uh, did you ask, I missed that then $3,200 led MIS di. So that's
Speaker 2 00:27:50 I got a couple, the couple, two K guys, the Ruiz kid from San Diego, obviously in play and then Nolan Jones. The guardian he's on the guardians. He's outfield there. He gets a lefty ready matchup. He's been pretty good. Get your Hutchinson here. 3 33 average, a thousand through his first eight games. He was a top a hundred prospect for the last three years. So Nolan Jones, two K going back to the will on Cleveland here. I really think he's currently playing. I think there are multiple routes to spending up because there are like just these like anomalies where there's a couple, two K guys that probably shouldn't be two K. So you could get a really good lineup, just using a couple of these punts. And I think Jones and Ru are two of the better two K players on the slate.
Speaker 1 00:28:38 Okay. That works for me. Anybody else?
Speaker 2 00:28:40 No, I think that's it.
Speaker 1 00:28:42 A home run call.
Speaker 2 00:28:43 I'm gonna go with Luis. Robert Devi Smeltzer. John 2.8 home runs per nine over his last five starts.
Speaker 1 00:28:49 So I was gonna go Jose Abra. That's that works for us. We're going white Sox here. If you pins ask us in discord, I believe is it Reland on the playbook today?
Speaker 2 00:29:00 Reen or Pete? I don't know which of the two.
Speaker 1 00:29:03 Anyways. One of them are on the playbook. It's not James. He was on a yesterday. So get us in discord and we will catch you guys later.
